03No guaranteed winnings
Results depend on chance. No system, strategy or “tip” guarantees a win. Gambling is not a source of income or a way to solve money problems.
04Don't chase losses
Trying to win back what you lost by betting more usually increases losses. If you have lost what you set out to spend, the game is over for today.
05Set money and time limits
Before you start, decide how much you can spend without affecting essential expenses and how long you will play — and stick to it. Licensed operators usually offer tools such as deposit limits, time reminders and self-exclusion: use them.
06Take breaks
Stop regularly. Don't play when tired, under the influence of alcohol, angry or to escape a bad moment.
07Warning signs
- You bet more money or for longer than you planned.
- You borrow, or use money meant for essentials, to gamble.
- You hide from others how much you gamble.
- You feel anxious or irritable when you try to stop.
- Gambling affects your work, studies or relationships.

09Mandatory warning
In Argentina, gambling and betting advertising must include the warning «El jugar compulsivamente es perjudicial para la salud» (“compulsive gambling is harmful to your health”) together with “+18” (Resolution 271/2026 of the Secretariat of Industry, Trade and SMEs, amending Resolution 446/2025).
